One of the doors didn't fit on very well, but I use that for storing my cookie sheets, several of which are oversized and wouldn't fit in there with a door on. I'm extremely happy with the unit, it serves as breakfast bar/counter space/cabinet space in a smallish kitchen. There were a couple dark spots on the counter top where the wood was just a less-than-perfect grain for the part, but I'm still quite happy with the unit overall.

I am a military wife, and when we arrived at our current post I quickly realized that I needed additional storage and counter space in my kitchen. I had been looking at kitchen carts/islands for a couple of weeks and continously came back to this one. I was hesitant to buy the cart b/c of the price, but I found it at Meijer's for about $200 cheaper than other stores and quickly discovered that it was a deal.[...]...the box was very heavy, but very easy to find all the parts. It took my husband about 45min to put the cart together. It is perfect for our kitchen. It provides the extra counter space for our microwave, toaster, and coffee maker...and extra storage for all our pots and pans. We had no problem putting it together. The only fault that I discovered was that one of the drawers was warped so it would not close...but that problem was quickly solved by contacting Home Styles directly. They sent a new drawer and now the cart is perfect!!! I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for additional counter and storage space in their kitchen.

Assembly was easy if you are good at following these type of directions - I had no problems. Great quality for the price, heavy, solid. Only problem i had was one piece was not lined up correctly and I had to cut a notch for it to fit properly. was an interior piece so nothing noticable, but if you don't have tools, could not assemble it at all... I took pictures and will send to manufacturer. Also, one door had saw blade cut into it then wood puttied and lacquered over, not extremely noticable but definitely looks slightly off. hopefully manufacturer can send replacement for this?? Would recommend but with some cautions..

This kitchen cart is sturdy. I mean, 130 pounds or so sturdy, which made it a bit tough to get up the three floors to my apartment. Anyway, it was rather simple to put together, maybe about 2 hours by myself, and does everything I need it to. It provides extra counter space for appliances that had no room in my kitchen, with more than enough room left over for extra prep space. The cabinets hold a good amount of overflow dishes/cookware. I couldn't be happier with this purchase, at least until I have to move it back down three floors.

I needed additional storage and counter space in my kitchen, but also something that was attractive, of sound material, but did not cost an "arm and a leg," and would not fall apart (my husband is in the Army, so we move every 2-4 yrs., and needed something that would survive.)I had been looking at this kitchen cart for about 2 weeks and really loved it, but was not willing to pay the price...that was until I found it at Meijer's, who had it for [$] cheaper than anyone else. My husband and I (mostly my husband) put it together in about an hour. The instructions seemed a little confusing, but nothing that could not be figured out. The only problem that arose with the cart was that one of the drawer's was warped so it would not fit properly or even close, but a quick call to Home Styles solved the issue. They quickly sent us a replacement drawer without any hassel; and the cart is perfect now.I highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a stylish and affordable solution for extra counter space and storage.

This cart was very easy to put together (3 hours) as long as you follow the directions. I am very pleased with the final results. I would recommend buying this cart if ou are looking to gain more counter area and looks good in the kitchen.

I've been looking for the perfect cart for four years... [...] It looks PERFECT in my kitchen and the storage is exactly what I needed. I was a little nervous that the top wouldn't be sturdy enough for what I needed it for; chopping, baking etc. It's just right. The only mild complaint I have at all is that the drawers were a pain to assemble only because the pre-drilled holes were not drilled and the couple that were I had to re-do myself because they were too small. Other than that the cart was VERY easy and quick to put together. This is exactly what I've been looking for! :)

We did not have much trouble putting it together, only one set of misdrilled holes that we had to manuever around. Generally a well built unit and practical for smaller places like apartments (we purchased it for my daughter). I think we got a pretty good price on the unit, so overall I am satisifed.

I put this island together by myself in a couple hours - the directions were quite good (Better than average). It's pretty solid, looks good. No complaints.[...] If you're looking for a moveable island, this is a good value.
