      It's really pretty. My husband assembled it and didn't complain. We have purchased many self assemble products over the years, and he usually complains about something. He did point out a small scuff on one of the corners. I used a marker and covered it up - no problem. It holds our 32" TV with room to spare. I'm sure 42" would be perfect.
