Home Styles Kitchen Island - White/Oak
Add instant sophistication to your kitchen with this kitchen island in a white finish with a distressed oak finished top. The simple, clean lines are dressed up with raised detailing and antique nickel hardware. An easy glide storage drawer, adjustable shelves, and open storage on each end provide plenty of storage space for all your kitchen needs.

This stylish piece features a distressed finish. Long narrow areas (approximately 2" x 10") of flat surfaces are lightly sanded after the stain is applied, lightening that area. Gives a subtle, uneven, aged, sun-worn look - adds interest to the finish.

    Do not purchase this item unless you want the look of garage sale items. I purchased a new item and it arrived scratched and there are two distinctive thumb prints on the top where the stain is extremely lighter then the rest of the top. I was told this was done intentionally to make it look used, I purchased new not used.

          In order to make the top of this look "distressed" they punched alot of triangular shaped notches into the wood. Totally ruins the look of the top. Their customer service sucked, and weren't willing to work with me. Never again will I buy their product. You will get a better deal at a garage sale.

            I've had this kitchen island close to a year...I did A LOT of research for an island & this one by far was the best...style, size & price. Assembly was easy, but we had to get a few replacement pieces because the holes didn't line up correctly so we had to wait over a week, which meant we had to store the unit/pieces in the house (impossible to put/store back in the boxes) until the replacement pieces came. Unfortunately, they sent the correct pieces, but the wrong color! We were able to get this corrected & put together. It's a great addition to our kitchen, I love it & we use it ALL the time. The ext leaf could be better supported (I'm always telling my kids to not lean on it too hard because I'm afraid it might break off though). OVERALL, it's a great island, really nice design & you can't beat the price (they had the best price). I also purchased two of the stools that coordinate with the island...easy to put together & nice.

            Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

It is just the right size for the are we needed it for and it replaced an old island which was to big unattractive and in the way.                       I absolutely love this island. I also bought the matching chairs and it looks so great in my kitchen. Plenty of storage inside and I like the shelves on the side. It took two of us a little over an hour to put the island together and maybe another 45 minutes for the two chairs, but it wasn't a hard process.
