I purchased this cart to use as an island in my small kitchen. For the price range I was very pleased, esp. since I got it on sale with free shipping. Keep in mind that this item costs a fraction of high end "designer" butcher block islands, and you do get what you pay for. While I looked long and hard at $1,000 options, I have not been disappointed with purchasing this item instead. I placed a small end grain butcher block cutting board on top and it gives me the look I want. The storage is good, and holds my can opener, blender, toaster, waffle iron and milkshake maker, along with place mats and kitchen towels. The drawers aren't deep, but that allowed more cupboard space below which I obviously needed! I only put one of the handles on, and it looks fine, but I still want to figure out a way to plug the handle holes on the one side. The cart is very sturdy and for the most part, very good quality. The finish on the wood doors and drawer fronts is very nice, and the hardware is good quality -- not plastic. Be aware that the sides and back are thin paperboard, not solid wood, but it looks fine when assembled, and the corners are solid wood so that helps. The wheels are substantial and strong. I did have to turn a few pieces around during assembly to hide small blemishes, but it all worked out. The wood top had several blemishes that were unacceptable to me, and the company responded with a new top in short order. Excellent customer service directly from the company -- so don't be afraid to purchase.

I use it as my Kitchen Island. I put a butcher block cutting board on top of it and my children use it to cut veggies for our meals. I also love the wheels. I've been able to wheel it out of the way for cleaning and to another room to use a drink cart. The two drawers aren't the deepest, but perfect for towels and plastic wrap. The cabinet below does not have a shelf, but is a perfect fit for my toaster and some baking dishes. I assembled it myself (stay at home mom) and the construction is very good for the price. They have even included stylish columns on the side to hide the screws instead of plugs. I am going to change out the knobs to match my kitchen cabinets, but you wouldn't have to. This is a great little cart. I love it!

I bought this cart to put my toaster oven on and to use it as extra workspace. It's big enough to fit the toaster oven and I have about 7 inches on the side free for a little prep station. The drawers are somewhat small but big enough for all my holiday towels/napkins. The cabinet is spacious, but I'm looking for a wire shelf to put in it so I can take advantage of the height. The cart was very easy to assemble, it looks great, and for the price it is a very high quality.

I purchased this for my daughter who needed more counter space. I was very pleased with the quality of it, the storage it provided and the nice wood. I would recommend this to anyone who needs nice looking counter area and storage.

Great product...a little complicated to assemble, just be patient!!! VERY well made! At other websites this item was $229.99!!!!! GREAT PRICE HERE!

We bought this cart because we needed not only more drawer space (it has 2), but also to use as a Microwave cart. I would guess that the top would make a fantastic prep area.
