        I ordered a pair of these stools to match the kitchen island with the drop leaf, and the finish on these isn't as nice as the island's. A couple of spots look very light, and there was one rough edge on a spindle that I'm going to have to sand. Another complaint is how they stapled the hardware pack to the underneath of the seat... totally unnecessary and near impossible to remove. Other than that, they seem sturdy enough; and the height is perfect for the island.

        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
