    Very disappointed that the item we received seemed to have been a previous return...Predrilled holes in one leg were in the wrong place...missing pins that hold up the shelf. Luckly, my husband corrected the mess. He said he would not send it back as far as he was putting it together.. I think the item is very attractive,however think twice before ordering

      First off, let me tell you that you'll LOVE this piece! I researched kitchen carts and islands for months. I bought this on Cyber Monday and it arrived today. I put it together by myself in about an hour and 15 minutes. (15 minutes was spent on unwrapping each piece, organizing, and doing a run through of the directions) The directions were easy to follow, and there are only 6 steps in the process. It came very well wrapped and cushioned for shipping. I'm really impressed with this manufacturer. So if you need some extra counter space - get this island!

        Very nice piece for Kitchen! Love the real wood, not just pressed or painted on.
        Color is Med brown oak with distressed details.
        Should have 2 people for very easy assembly, but I did put it together my self.
        Ample storage (aprox 20"x21"inside), but outside shelves are fixed(aprox 6"in between shelves) and shallow (aprox 8"x15").
        The drawer(aprox 20"wide,3"deep) is cool, it has 2 sets of pulls so it can be opened on either side.
        I use it as a microwave stand and also to store microwavable dishes in it.
        Because it is made so well, it doesn't wobble. I placed a glass hotplate underneath the microwave to protect the finish.
        It really is a great addition to my Kitchen!

        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

        I absolutely love this island. I found it very simple to put together. It is pretty heavy so I'd recommend two people but it's not impossible to do solo. I'm a very petite woman (5'0) and I had it up and ready to use in 2 hours by myself. The biggest selling point to me is that you can access the storage from either side. This means you don't have to worry about which way the ugly back side should face if you place it in the middle of the kitchen. The only negative thing I could say about it is that the shelves on the outside are not really high enough or deep enough to store much on. Other than that it looks great in my kitchen and it has plenty of useful storage.

        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
