This bookshelf is great. I ordered two, there is slight variation in the color, but they look fine side by side. They were easy to assemble (according to my husband) and are very sturdy (my ferrets and cats climb on them with so much as a wobble.) great buy.

I had purchased the ladder bookcase to match an existing one I already had from the same maker. Excpet they are NOT the same. The one I purchased is much taller and has exposed shelf anchors. My intention was to have one on each side of my entertainment table that holds my TV. Due to the height difference though, I had to put them on opposite walls. Though they are great bookcases and serve the main purpose of my purchase for storage of books, cd's and dvd's, they are not what I expected.
