    I bought this for my son-in-law and he thanked me as soon as he opened it. He works on trucks in the army and they have a bigger one for the large trucks and he says the guys use it all the time. This one was for his own truck which is on the taller side. Does not slip while on tire, feet don't slip on step, and is easily moved from side to side. Folds up to fit behind seat

      I had just had a windsheild replaced and they put tape all the way around it. I got most of it off but there were a couple pieces left at the top of my Jeep Wrangler window I couldn't reach. I put the step on the tire and was able to reach them and get them off.

          The Hitchmate tire steps are great. Makes reaching the roof of a full size van a breeze. My problem with this order was I did not receive the storage bags, which were suppose to come with the tire steps. I have been corresponding with Meijer.com since 12-24-09 and have not had any results. Sure would be nice to receive the balance of my order.

            You can use it to work on the engine or wash your truck without trying to step on top of the tire and pull yourself up. Dodge trucks are high so comes in handy with the tote bag.

              I ordered two as gifts . One for my father-in-law and one for a friend. When I opened the box some bolts fell out. These were from one of the units. Neither one had a carrying bag. I don't know how well they work but they were not as advertised.

                My son thought this was the coolest gift as his hobby and life support is MODIFYING anything with wheels and this allows him to work on the motor once he realizes he made it to big to see into. P.S. he is about 6' 5" so even then he needs them
