Comfortable overall, but maybe not for hours at a time. Still, these are one of the best values in metal chairs you will find. They went together easily and are very sturdy. Cleaning the metal is easy, but if something gets on the seat or back, it could be hard to clean since we are talking bare fabric here. I would recommend buying spray-on scotch guard to help. If your the size and build of a small petite asian girl, these are the perfect size, if your a guy like me (220 lbs and almost 6 feet), these are a little on the small side, but still good. Got them for our Kitchen with the understanding I was going to invite people over for hours of board-gaming and D&D so I plan on using these a lot. I already used them this Thanksgiving and the guests liked them.
