HeatTrak Residential Snow-Melting Heated Walkway Mat
Keep your walkways safe and snow-free all winter long with HeatTrak's snow melting mat. This electric mat melts snow on contact to prevent snow and ice accumulation on walkways around the home. No more shoveling, no more salting, no more slipping!

Each walkway mat is designed with watertight connector cables enabling it to connect to additional HeatTrak Walkway Mats or Stair Mats (sold separately). Each set of HeatTrak Mats requires 1 Power Unit (sold separately, model HR-P) to connect the system to an electrical outlet.

Up to 15 amps can be connected on a single power unit; That's either 5 Walkway Mats, 15 Stair Mats, or any combination thereof. Connect Residential Walkway Mats and Residential Stair Mats to cover any size area! See the Buying Guide PDF for more information.

Works great! It won't shut off automatically until the outside temperature is around 60 degrees (seems a bit high to me! I think 40 would be fine?!) but you can get around that by just unplugging it when it's not snowing. Other than that, it's a great product. I shopped around for the best price for weeks & Mejier had the BEST PRICE BY FAR!

Product seems to work great and provides a non-slip, warm (but not hot) path to outdoor hot tub. I recommend the product, however...

Avoid buying through Meijer!! Products were charged to my cc and not shipped until 2 weeks later when I had to call for a number of days in a row. Difficult to get communication. I had to contact UPS myself to get details.

(Products are sold elsewhere - buy there instead!)

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
