      Received Halo ODST on release day and it's no surprise that it's exactly as everyone expected. For those who love the series, it's no doubt a must purchase - and I'm sure Microsoft is relying on this to boost sales of this game. However, There's nothing new here. My kid thinks there's a story here, but I can't find anything past : wander through empty distopian future earth city, find some coveted object, kill aliens and move on to the next fetch quest. I'm astonished to see this game as a full $[$] release. There's just not enough of anything here to justify it. Oh, but you do get 3 map paks for Halo 3, but then you probably already bought those last year.

      Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
