Comments about Haier DE65EK 65-Pint Dehumidifier:

Setup was easy, though the manual is not very detailed.
The drain hose fitting has poor threads and did not work with a standard hose coupler. I had to use a garden hose 45 degree coupler that has longer threads, to get a good connection with a standard garden hose coupler.
My intended use was to go to a floor drain with a clear plastic hose that I provided, but water still went into the bucket. I removed the bucket, and inserted rubber plugs, that I bought, in the drain holes above the bucket; I then raised the front wheels about 1/2" and the now drain hose works fine, and no water goes to the bucket. This avoids having to empty the bucket and allows the unit to run as needed without checking for the full bucket.
The fan is moderatly loud but not an issue since we are using it in a basement laundry and furnace area.
