            Purchased this item to use in a haunted cemetary, and it was pretty effective. It was just a little difficult to set up, but not terrible. We did not use the fog machine connection. However, it kept falling over (both the machine as well as the tombstone). Trying to correct it in the dark was extremely difficult (especially when we were in costume), and it took many attempts to keep everything erect and working. But when it worked, it looked very good and the sound was also very good.

                      Cool idea. The guardian hides behind a supplied grave stone (made of styrofoam), and when activated (either via sound or an optional foot pad), it rises up, making scary sounds and breathing smoke/fog (if you have a fog machine hooked up to it--also optional). In practice, it works OK, but not great. The sound effects are kind of warbly and the overall construction isn't very robust, leading me to wonder how long it's going to last. That said, it's definitely my favorite Halloween decoration this year, and Meijer had the best price around.

                        The was a great Halloween prop until we used it outside, and moved it one or twice. Then it stopped working, and it is impossible to open it to fix it.

                            I just received my Guardian. The animation is smooth and he is tall when fully extended.
                            He will make a nice addition to my front yard haunt. The timer function is nice. He’ll go off every 3 minutes or loud sound will override the timer. I will look for a fog machine as I think this will be a nice added effect (fog machine will interface with the Guardian).
                            I’m also looking for a foot pad trigger, but have been unable to locate the accessory.
                            The only thing I may enhance is the ghoul’s fingers are molded into the tombstone, so I may add some skeletal hands.
