I reviewed the product online. It looked like the appropriate size, weight and durability I need in a non-motorized lawn mower.

The next thing I did was review the shipping policies. It seemed like a reasonable time frame from purchase to delivery.

I ordered it and waited. And waited and waited some more. Finally I receieved a call from the seller stating that there was some sort of problem with the manufacturer and they would contact me when the issue was resolved. This did not happen. I called and emailed about the problem.

Finally I heard back via email and after multiple requests they were willing to waive the shipping costs. I still had not received the mower.

More days went by and it was finally delivered. I unpacked it and put it together.

It is depicted as a maroon/burgundy color I liked on the website. The one I received is fire engine red which I really dislike.

The other problem is the weight. I have a medical weight restriction of 15 lbs. This mower felt much heavier so I weight it. It weighs 25 lbs, 9 pounds heavier than the description online.

I really didn't want to keep this product. However my lawn was already very overgrown. I did not want to risk getting a fine from my city. I also assumed that if buying this item took so long and fraught with difficulties that returning would NOT be easy.

It does an okay job but I would reccommend buying this mower on-site so you can verify the accuracy of the description and it's design. And one would also avoid the nightmare shipping process.
