Within 4 months (after the 90 day return policy of Meijer)the enamel started flaking to the point that we can't use it anymore. I can't seem to find the company contact information ANYWHERE for the warranty. The whole reason I bought cast iron was so that I wouldn't have to worry about bad stuff getting into my family's food. Save your money and get REAL cast iron that is NOT enamel coated.

After using this cute stove top pot for 5 months, the enamel began to crack and start flaking off. Last night while making dinner, the entire bottom flaked off into our rice! We threw the rice away and since this pot has a "Lifetime Guarantee" Meijer told us to contact the manufacturer. This is the second pot that we have had and they both cracked after a few months. Save your money and buy a Le Creuset!

I purchased 2 frying pans and a stock/soup pot at the same time. They looked good, are heavy and the frying pans looked durable. The frying pans peeled after the FIRST use--even though I use teflon utensils and the spots rusted. The pot's inside bottom crazed and turned brown after two uses. I used it only for chili and soup.

I would never buy--or recommend-again. Unfortunately, I purchased over two months ago and can't get a refund, so I'm out over $50.

This is a fine 3 qt dutch oven for the money when on sale.
It works fine for small boiling tasks on medium heat just let it take its time.
It has a nice thick base that should help prevent metal movement or popping or blistering of the enamel finish.
Treat it right and use the pan on low - medium stove burner heat to be safe.
Some minor enamel imperfections that don't affect performance.
Check the product prior to leaving the store to ensure a proper fitting lid.

I had been wanting this pot for quite sometime..when they dropped the price I finally bought it..I love it! It cooked a nice pot of chicken noodle soup..heats great..made nicely very pleased with it all the way around
