I have a pan just like this one'and I love it, and that's why I'm buying another one. It really cooks good, and it really heats up fast, and you also get even heating with this pan. The cons, I would say is that, it does stick on certain foods, and it does tend to get stained, but that can be fixed by using either baking soda paste or Bleach solution. It is also very heavy. Overall, I would say this pan is a good value for the price you pay.

I love this Dutch Oven and use it all the time. On the piece itself, it does not state where it is manufactured though and I no longer have the box. Does anyone know where it is imported from? I would really like to know!

I really like this reasonably priced dutch oven. Had my kids get it for me for Christmas as my first enamaled iron piece. It heats up quickly and cooks evenly. Have browned in it and cooked in it, but not in the oven yet. It also looks really nice! I hope it lasts forever!

This is a fine cheap dutch oven for the money.
Have boiled water on medium 5 1/2 -6 gas stove setting.
Lid has a lower oven temperature 356F than the vessel 500F
Will buy a solid metal brass or stainless knob from the hardware store.
A few acceptable defects nothing major.
One minor pin size pit on the enamel finish on base.
One very small enamel run or drip under lid edge that snags dish cloth.
