        They worked fairly well for a year. Then they stopped working all together. I had to purchase new ones. I would expect the monitors to last a lot longer!! Very upset!

        We purchased the product when my second daughter was born in June of 2010. The monitor works great as long as you don't go more than 150-200 feet away...which is much less than the advertised range. The battery will last all day, but must be stored on charger at night which works fine for us as we charge it while we're sleeping so it's ready to go the next morning. After about 11 months of continuous use it started picking up more static, beeping for no reason when the battery was fully charged and it was within range of the base, and finally stopped working all together. So, overall, while it worked, it worked pretty well as long as you stayed close. So I guess, a year of constant use is a lot for a [$] product, especially when the kids dropped it more than a few times :) I have to say, I will most likely be out replacing it with the same product soon.

        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
