        It can mount to a 2x4 on edge or larger surface. Having those options was real nice. The screws were a bit hard to get in because the telescope partially blocks the holes. It is what I was expecting at a good price. I think I got it on sale. I didn't expect it to actually magnify anything, but now that we have it, it would be neat if it actually worked.

          Looked at many places for a telescope for our playset and saw this one, was a little skeptical because it was cheaper price than the others but it is not cheaper in quality. Very easy to install on the playset. My kids are 3 and 1 and love to play with this and can see them playing with it for years to come.
