The factory stained and sealed wood is naturally resistant to rot, decay, and insect damage and the durable, multi-color, fire-retardant polyester roof is waterproof and resistant to mold, mildew, and ultraviolet (UV) light.

This is a beautiful sandbox. The screws that were supplied to you by the manufacturer were worthless. You could not get them to go in to put together. I had to take the screws and get outdoor wood screws. Once that was done was very easy to put together. Outdoor screws for decking is what I got so that they are rust resistant. I would recommend this to a friend, but let them know about the screws ahead of time.
