We bought this for our three year old who has been receiving physical and occupational therapy on his left hand and arm because of mild cerebral palsy. He was just beginning to be able to use the trapeze bar at therapy so we bought this to add to his playset at home. WOW! This was much bigger and sturdier than I imagined. The bar itself is coated in soft plastic so it is easy to grip. It will definitely last for alot of years. It was easy to hang on the already existing swing "s" hooks-we actually switch it out with a regular sling swing when he wants to use it. He is able to hang and swing from the rings and hopefully will eventually gain enough strength to swing from the bar and even climb up on it and swing on it. I am a super bargain shopper and Meijer absolutely had the lowest price.[...]

The kids liked the tri-angled grip bars. I liked the fact that it was not cheaply made, but all parts were sturdy and safely made.

Since I installed it my kids have been playing with it almost every day and love it. I just wish I got two because they fight over it! I have a 3yr old and a 5yr old. I put this in my garage out of the weather and have a light mat underneath.
It seems very well constructed. Be careful your kids don't put their feet inside of the handles as they will likely get stuck there and eventually the child will have a bad fall. Luckily I was present when it happened and they know not to do that.
The handles are plastic and not metal as I thought. They seem to be tough. Not sure how they'd handle the outdoors though.
I wish I got this thing a long time ago.

My husband and I put together the swing set a couple of weekends ago and it is great. My husband is not a real big man but weighs in the 180's. He gets on the swings and the trapeze bar right along side of the kids. Good stuff!
