My daughter received this as a gift and we too had trouble inflating. I called the company and they recommended taking it to a filling station. I have a nice pump and wanted to do on my own, so they recommended that I "puncture" the plastic insert. I KNEW this was wrong. After watching some videos on Buoys I saw that many had inserts or plugs. I therefore put an allen wrench inside the white insert and turned counter-clockwise a few turns to loosen. After this it took air from a standard needle (no need to puncture). After filling it leaked until I turned the insert clockwise until it stopped. I'm not sure if this is the way to do it, but it seemed to work for me and the buoy is still inflated. Hope that helps!

My 2 1/2-year-old loves this thing. He's a little small for it right now, but still is able to enjoy it. Our 6-year-old neighbor likes it, too! It's something different than just a swing, and the kids can do different things with it (swing, hang, sit, etc.). We've had it for about 3 weeks, so I cannot attest to its durability, but it seems pretty durable. I would have rated it with 5 stars, but it was very difficult to inflate and did not come with any instructions on how to inflate it. I had to search the Internet on tips about how to inflate it.

We can not inflate the buoy ball. We found instructions online - there were no instructions or "Inflation adapter" as described on the buoy manufacturer's website. This is impossible to inflate without the adapter. Did the rest of you have instructions and an inflation adapter included with your purchase? [...] I have a very unhappy little boy and just want to know what is needed/how to get this blown up. Help!? Thanks

This is great. My 3 year old son loves it. The ball easily detaches to use the trapeze bar. Meijer had the best price by far.

I purchased the set for my twin grandsons, age 8. They have enjoyed it as one piece and without the ball.

I was amazed at the construction of this product. Everything is plastic coated (not the chain) and the ball is very heavy duty. It is great fun. The ball removes easily for just a trapeze.
