My son wore an adult's costume (it's all we could get), but it worked out well. It was big enough to layer a coat underneath, and we could roll the pants to fit. The inflatable backpack is great, but the gun gets in the way at times for trick-or-treating. It needs to have some kind of holster for when hands are full. This costume drew lots of attention and was appreciated by young and old!
