Additional Information
Hair color can cause an allergic reaction which, in certain rare cases, can be severe. Therefore, you must follow these precautions: Do not use if: you have already had a reaction to a hair color product; you have a sensitive, itchy or damaged scalp. If you have a tattoo, the risks of an allergic reaction may be increased. Perform a skin allergy test 48 hours before each use of this product. Remember to buy your product 2 days ahead of time. Avoid contact of this product with eyes and skin. If product gets into eyes, rinse immediately. Wear gloves provided in kit. Thoroughly rinse hair after application. Do not use over compound henna or progressive color. Wait at least 14 days after bleaching, relaxing or perming before coloring. Keep product out of the reach of children. Do not apply on children. This product contains ingredients which may cause skin irritation on certain individuals and a preliminary test according to accompanying directions should first be made. This product must not be used for dyeing the eyelashes or eyebrows; to do so may cause blindness.

      OMG. THIS THING MADE MY HAIR BRIGHT RED, AND IT TAKES FOREVER FOR THE WATER TO RUN CLEAR!! I HATE IT! DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. IF I CAN GIVE THIS PRODUCT A NEGATIVE, I WOULD!!!!!!!!!

      This is absolutely the most gorgeous color I have ever seen. I get complimented on it on a daily basis. To ensure the color lasts I use Garnier Fructis Color Shield shampoo and conditioner. The only negative thing I experienced was that the color does stain towels after every wash so make sure to always use a dark towel. When it's time for touch ups I only have to do my roots because the rest of my hair is still as vibrant as it was the day I dyed it. I have been using this product for the past two years and can't imagine ever switching to anything else! I LOVE IT!!!!

      First, I dye my hair often and diversely and this is what I have learned.
      This particular dye does provide the most vibrant red I've ever gotten (and I've tried numerous reds). Also, on my first use I went from (dyed) black to vibrant red with one application (including a filler.) Also, as a plus it smells better than any dye I've ever tried.
      As for cons, it fades rapidly (even in comparison to other home-reds) and left my hair more damaged than other dyes, and I've been dying my hair for years. Regardless, I'm still using it because it gives me by far the most vibrant red for the best price.

        i bought this hair dye because i had heard good things about it, that it lasted long and gave a GREAT color. i dyed it with the help of my friend amd followed all the instructions etc etc. it had an amazing color at first! i loved how red it was and i was so happy with it. but about 2 weeks later it had faded so much, it looked kind of pinkish/orange. i won't be using it again. :( other than that it was good, my hair was completely healthy and it was easy to use.

          i have been dying my hair red for over ten years and fade has always been the biggest problem, but this dye barely fades and is super inexpensive! i have had more good comments from perfect strangers then with any other color as well!

              This turned out just how I wanted it. I have naturally very dark brown hair, and it lighted it up just enough to a rich bright, and surprisingly very SHINY red. It actually made my hair feel healthier, and smoother. Great dye!
