Garmin Dakota 20 Handheld GPS Navigator
The top-of-the-line Garmin Dakota 20 Handheld GPS Navigator is a versatile choice for serious backcountry hunters, high-altitude alpine expeditions, and coordinating with a group for urban or off-road travel. With a 3-axis compass, barometric altimeter, and short-range unit-to-unit wireless connectivity, it has high-end features without a high-end price.

A bright, 2.6" sunlight readable touchscreen display delivers full-color, high-definition images. It's waterproof and impact resistant. High-sensitivity Garmin GPS receivers detect signals rapidly with HotFix satellite prediction technology to calculate your position faster. The unit comes preloaded with a highly detailed worldwide basemap, and you can store waypoints, extra maps, and other information with 850MB of internal memory.

The Dakota 20 is microSD card compatible for expanding memory capacity. A USB interface lets you upload map data, software updates, and other features like City Navigator NT, Blue Chart g2 and Topo mapping software. This unit runs for 18 hours on 2 AA batteries (not included). It includes a USB cable, a lanyard, a quick reference guide, and an owner's manual on disk.

Comments about Garmin Dakota 20 Handheld GPS Navigator:

Great for marking locations and navigating. Extremely accurate and excellent for geocaching, or marking potential hunting locations. I would just make sure I have a couple of sets of batteries before leaving the lensatic compass at home. you can change profiles to show needed items and hide unwanted items. so many great features I cannot imagine what else I would suggest adding EVERYTHING is already in there!
