Gardman Squirrel-Proof Peanut Feeder for Wild Birds
The outer cage of this peanut feeder allows small birds easy access to the feed while excluding squirrels, predators and larger birds. Featuring tough steel construction with a durable coating, it is easy to fill - simple twist-lift action to remove top. The feed tube is easily removed for cleaning by simple bayonet action while the base plug is removable for more effective cleaning. Can be pole mounted using threaded base or suspended by the provided stainless steel wire and clasp.

I really like the look of the feeder. It did stop the regular squirrels...but those smaller red squirrels just climb inside the wire, sit down and chow. They then chew through the plastic and made the item useless.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

    We love to watch the little birds try to figure out how to get to the seed on their first visit! We have two of these hanging from the tree outside our kitchen window; the birds love it. We fill it with black sunflower seeds. The best part is that is keeps the big birds, such as pigeons, away so the little birds can get their tummy's full!
