      Bottomline is that this air conditioner is very weak. 9000 btus just doesn't do much unless you're living in a closet. It's much better than a window unit (no one buys window units anymore) but is still quite weak. You can make it work slightly better if you turn the fan up but it makes it so noisy that you can barely think. Just a below average item.

      Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
