Comments about Franklin MLB 2-In-1 Multi-Position Baseball Return:

Only had this a few weeks and...Nice idea, poor craftsmanship. I should have paid attention to other reviews. The poles are weak and on the netting side where you use bungy to attach the net the poles have bent inward. Also they dent easily (8 year old) and that weakens the metal. This is a hazzard to kids. I got replacement poles from Frankling and may line them with rebar. The other side (catcher) has poles that has one that overlaps and squeezes to the others by turning. However it never holds a grip and the pole ends up sliding down thus ruins the angle. I may have to tape this. Overall, nice idea but apparently nobody there has kids to test this.

Comments about Franklin MLB 2-In-1 Multi-Position Baseball Return:

We just set this up for my 8 yo. It is a little tricky (careful of your finger) of getting the net side to bungy to the poles. We did it but then noticed that the middle of the poles (vertical on net side) are buldging inward. The poles are thin metal and I know won't last long. My son has hit the poles as well and they dent easily and this will just weaken the metal and it will surely break and/or cave in from the pull of the bungy cord.

It is amazing that this is designed so poorly. I guess nobody there has a kid to test it with.

It seems to have a 90 day warranty. I wrote to Franklin and await their response.

I think I may buy some 1/2" rebar and try to fit them inside each pole to provide more strength.

Overall, I am very dissatisfied and won't be buying any (nor recommending) Franklin Sports stuff any more unless they make amends.
