I purchased my first in 2005, and I was happy enough with it to order another this year. The drawbacks of the last one were that it collapsed twice under snow. We usually only get snow every 7 years or so, and it rarely is a snow that sticks. However, the crazy weather the last 2 winters gave us a couple of "heavy" snows for this region. During both of the heavy ones, the bloomhouse collapsed under the snow and damaged plants. My tallest one was severely damaged both times.We are in zone 7 (I call it 7 1/2 because we're close to 8), so I can't vouch for this in a much colder climate. Obviously, I was happy enough with it to purchase a second. I got a deal on my first one [$]. I paid about double that for this one, so that tells you I must have been satisfied with the product!

This greenhouse setup easy and is stable in winds with the tie downs. I use this to start seedlings and move tropical plants outside earlier in the summer. Using a 1000 watt electric heater will allow for 10-15 F increase over outside temperatures. If you drape the shade cloth inside the greenhouse you can increase temperatures by about 20 degrees above ambient.

This is a great way to have a greenhouse in your yard without adding a permanent building. The Bloomhouse is lightweight and easy to assemble and take down.
