    Not what I expected

    This toy was a big disappointment. It doesn't hold my 6 month old daughter's attention at all. The cause and effect part of it is pretty simple-each instrument has only one sound and plays whenever you touch it. That's it. I wouldn't recommend it. There are other, cheaper options that do the same thing.

    Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

              My 1 year old son received this toy at 6 months old. He loves music but these instruments don't hold his attention well. He does love the piano keys and cracks up when I "bang" them. The trumpet is hard for him to work just yet - he can't push or squeeze that hard. He'll roll the guitar a few times but then he's moving on.

                  My 9-mos-old granddaughter likes the keyboard and the guitar very much. The horn does not interest her, which is unfortunate because it does not make noise like the other two instruments. She really likes the sounds, but they annoy me. The keyboard is VERY sensitive to touch, and has come on when the furnace kicks on at night. As long as she likes it, though, it was worth it and it was on sale.

                  Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
