This mobile is amazing! We received this for our first child, and he has been and remains captivated by this! It soothes him when he fights off sleep, and the music is nice and soft to lull him to off to dream land. The lights are incredible, and they don't abruptly shut off when changing a setting, so your close-to-sleep baby won't jolt awake. No problems with the animals not lighting up so far. Maybe it's just our batteries? Haven't had to change them in a month! And we are frequent users. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

It's 4am right now and this mobile just did it's job! I have twins and they both love this mobile. Their smiles and the mobiles ability to soothe them gives it a 5 star rating in my book. It was expensive but I bought this in desperation when my babies were newborn and would cry when put in the crib. I saw instant gratification from them on our first use. That made it worth every penny. The minute they see the lights on the mobile they just grin. The music, lights, and movement are soft and soothing We had a cutesy manual mobile with our first that matched the crib bedding. It was expensive, loud, manual wind up, and didn't soothe my baby at all. With the exception on price this mobile wins the prize. And desperation really has no price! Here are my cons but remember I still give it 5 stars because in the end it does the trick and that's what really matters. - You can't turn it off by touching the button again. You have to power it off totally or just let it finish. - we have 2 cribs and it attaches much easier onto our standard Jenny Lind style than it does our fancier crib that has wider flat spindles and a thicker top rails. - The lighted portion that displays stars on the ceiling lacks. It does not move or anything. My babies are not interested in this feature of the mobile. (The other features totally make up for this) - Price I am probably going to end up buying another one of these really soon once my babies move to separate cribs and despite the cons I will purchase this same mobile.

Like many who purchased this product, I was upset about the blue elephant not working after a period of time. After reading other reviews I thought to myself, this is odd...maybe I should try the easiest answer first and change the battery. Once I did that, the elephant and the entire mobile worked wonderfully. Before you give up on this fantastic product, try replacing your batteries. Now the animals glow bright, the music is louder, and it continues to keep my daughter's attention. This mobile is so wonderful that my child turns it on herself in the early morning hours and continues to keep occupied and quiet. Don't give up so easily. Batteries do not last forever.

My son is 8 weeks old & we love, love, love this mobile, but after just a week the blue elephant does not light up anymore. This makes mom & baby super sad! How do we fix it or will you please send us a replacement mobile? I am a first time mom & any toys that will keep baby happy are heaven sent, so we need our blue elephant to work pretty please. thank you so much for your time & consideration. We have been faithful to fisher price for generations so I hope we can continue.

I bought this product because I like what it had to offer. However, the pictures on the box look much better than what the actual product does when it's turned on. The music is probably the best part. The lights on the animals are not as good as what I expected and the image the projector displays is horrible! I would have to compare this to buying a burger at a fast food restaurant! They look so good on TV until you go and buy one for yourself and open the package, then the disappointment sets in when you see what you actually get!

My 2 month old daughter is a bit colic and I hadn't had much luck finding products to hold her interest to calm her down. I've looked at many items. I came across this mobile a few weeks ago that soothes and lights up. It only lasts for 10 minutes at a time, but it actually gets her to fall asleep without being held most nights. (she usually wakes up as soon as being set down even after any timeframe) Sometimes during the day we use it because she will stay occupied for a while without people interaction, but it's not very exciting to watch during the day since the bees are the only circular movement, at least the arms lift up and down. I'm glad that I bought it, regardless of the price. I was willing to try anything to see if it would help and it did.

My daughter really loves watching the animal light up and move. Sadly that has come to an abrupt stop. After only 3 weeks the elephant has stopped lighting up and now the music is starting to drag. I guess I will shop for a new mobile today. This one is on its last sad leg.

We have the same problem as the other reviewers. This mobile is less than 2 months old and the elephant stopped working.

I haven't even had this mobile a month and the blue elephant does not work anymore. Suggestions on what you have to offer for this? As I have read many other mom's are having the same trouble. Please get back to me, as we use this every night.

Seems I am having the same trouble as the other reviewer! I have only had this mobile for a month or so and the Elephant has stopped lighting up! This was an expensive mobile to have trouble already! What can we do to get this resolved?
