I bought this tea kettle online w/ a giftcard I received for Christmas. I chose it because of price, looks and water capacity. I think I may have chosen a different one had I been in a store. Steel was thinner than I expected and handle is all plastic and makes me nervous when I open the spout (waiting for it to break). However, I like that it heats up quickly, holds about 4-5 large coffee mugs of water and is nice to look at. Overall, good buy if you are on a budget, otherwise, if you can afford better, upgrade! :)

I am very disappointed in this product, not because it does not work, but because it is not made in the USA. I ordered it from a website that stated this tea kettle was made in the USA. Two years ago I made a commitment to buying anything I needed to buy, from companies in the United States.I even check the groceries I purchase to make sure they are USA grown/produced. I was in the hospital when the tea kettle arrived and my husband and daughter opened the package and did not keep the box, or I would have returned it. Thank you for the opportunity to share my opinion.
