I purchased this fencing because I liked the look of it, however, I knew I would need to spray paint it white in order for it to show up in my back yard; it's being used as a decorative border separating part of my back yard from a more wooded area. I went through quite a few cans of spray paint--probably spent more on that than on the fence! Anyone else who's thinking of doing this, make sure you purchase spray paint specifically made for PLASTIC & follow the preparation instructions; I had to learn the hard way that not all spray paint adheres well to plastic. Oh well, it ultimately turned out the way I wanted & looks very nice near a heart-shaped plant stand with a similar scroll design--that I also spray painted white. I guess my only complaint would be . . . Why don't they make these items in white (or choice of black or white) to begin with???
