I read all the reviews and some of the negative reviews really don't belong. First of all, don't blame the machine if the wiring in your house doesn't allow something that is around 3000 watts to be plugged into the same outlet. Second of all, just because you don't like the way your friend's fryer smells up her house don't write a negative review for it; makes no sense. This fryer does what it's supposed to do, it deep frys food. That's the bottom line. And because it's a dual fryer, you can deep fry LARGER qtys at once. And I like the stainless steel finish, it goes well in my black and white kitchen!

I have a friend that owns one, and yes it is nice, for her, but I do not care for the way it makes the house smell. It also seems to stain the wall closest to where it sits. I don't want any stains on the wall. Plus I have no place to store something that big. Although the food does taste good cooked in a fryer, it has to many cons for my to want one myself.

This fryer is a joy to work with if you use it properly as intended by manufacturer. Read the Instructions! Firstly make sure both heating elements are correcly in place and red safety button in back of each element is pushed down all the way at the back of the appliance. Before you do anything else place some good brand clear wrapping tape over the temperature gage settings and off area. This will prevent them from wearing or being scrubed off later, as with any appliance when you clean them. The two break away electrical cords only fit in one way and are magnetic for quick release for a reason; to prevent fire and injury (heaven forbid)! Do not overfill bins with oil as it and water (frozen crystals) causes a boiling/bubbling overflo reaction when any moisture in food makes contact with hot grease. Lower baskets gently in hot oils and raise and lower until the baskets can be completely let down without overflo worry. The covers can prevent splattering so use them during and as food is submerged. While food is cooking, I have found that turning the covers (lids) the opposite way so steam vents are closer to you, at the front of the appliance, allows for better ventilation out into the room as oppose to under my cabinets where I do not have an exhaust fan. The covers do not fit as flush this way but still lie flat and work just as well. Do not burn your hands or arms when reaching over to remove the lids to check on or to raise baskets when removing your fried delights! Cleaning is a breeze as appose to any of the 10 different fryers we have had and used in our home over our lifetime! Never submerge electrical devices in any water. Hot suddy water works great, rinse in cool water, and let all components completely dry before using the to avoid any injury. Well we are going to have blooming onions and chicken wings soon so I have to warm up the grease in our dual chamber, dual basket, and dual temperature, Elite Deep Fryer. Used first time and it kept taking longer and longer to fry. Had to run an extension cord accross kitchen to plug in both wells at same time or circuits kept blowing. Manufacturer says nothing wrong and this rep has a bigger one that she plugs both cords into one outlet and works fine...THANKS A LOT FOR A PIECE OF JUNK [...]

My husband(the cook) likes it because it has two seperate compartments to cook two things at once so the meal will get cooked at the same time,so if we have fish and fries we can cook them both at the same time and the grease won't taste fishy on the fries.The cons are when we got it one of the temp. controls wasn't even hooked up to the unit, and the LEDS that are supposed to be green are amber and barely light up. It also had a dent in the side, because the outer part is so thin and cheaply made.I should have sent it back, but my husband hooked it all back up.

both sides of this fryer broke the first time I used it. The numbers rubed off on the first wipe the worst thing is it's the perfect size.
