The Trike is powered by a new lightweight version of the premium 37V 9Ah Panasonic Lithium battery and is the only e-Moto model with a throttle installed as standard equipment. I test drove a Currie trike that was 107lb. and one gear speed. At 62 lb. and with 6 gears, the eMoto is much more nimble. Also, it does fine with the battery turned off.
