The quality of these is fine, but my one year old can remove the outlet covers, rendering them useless. They come out too easily for her. We had to buy some that are practically parent-proof to stop her. If your child isn't that interested in outlets, but you want to protect them, this would be fine.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
