        Worked great three times, the four time I turned it on nothing. Called Deni to see if there was anything I could do and they said yes return it. I replaced it with a different model from someone else.

        Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

          I first bought this product just before Christmas 2009. A week after New Year's Day, it quit working. I returned it to the store for replacement (another retailer) and they recommended that I purchase the extended warranty - which should have been a warning to me! I did, and I used the second burner until two weeks after the extended warranty expired - at which time the burner no longer heated up! It lasted just over one year with average usage - probably averaging to once a day or less. I have had other brands last several years. I like the look, I like the controls, it is easy to clean, but it is not long-lived. I am going to purchase another brand to replace this, and I would not recommend it to anyone I care about.

          Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

            EXTRA BURNER FOR WHEN YOUR COOK TOP JUST ISN'T BIG ENOUGH. GREAT FOR CAMPING AND DORM ROOMS.
