I would not have posted a comment here but I saw that a couple of other people experienced a very short life span with this cooker. I used it 3 times and then in the middle of cooking dinner this week, it just went out. I have replaced it but I wonder now how long this one will last - and I too wonder how and where I will get a new seal when it wears out. I am afraid I would purchase another brand next time.

Was trying to make food for friends and family, that don't cook that much anymore. thought it would be a great time saver, but only worked for a week. I got it on 2/7/2013 worked great then died on 2/15/2013. For a week I had free time to do more then cook now I have to get out the slow cooker and keep looking in on food all day. What is going on things were made to last but now days you get a week if you are lucky. Save your self DON'T get this.

This is my second Deni Pressure Electric Pressure cooker in so many years and I am already worried that the seal is deteriorating. While I love the product, I searched long and hard for a replacement seal for the last one with no luck.

Buy this product if you lovethe ease of a pressure cooker for good, quick meals for busy families... don't expect it to last a lifetime

Since I purchased this pressure cooker, I have been very impressed with how easy it is to operate, unlike the old pressure cookers I was used to. I love how you can set the timer and also how it is actually a slow cooker also. The large capacity is just right for cooking for a crowd, but convenient enough for smaller use. I continue to try new recipies using it and I'm sure it will become a daily cooking item in my home. Thanks

It only worked for 1 month, and when it worked, it was great. Big enough to make a big pot of beef stew and I made a pot roast in it. Meat is very tender. My complaint is that the first one that arrived was damaged, so we had to get a replacement. The replacement worked 3 times and then quit, had to throw away a corned beef because of it. The heating element just quit heating. We are sending it back to be repaired, but I am now wishing I would have gotten a different brand. I love electric pressure cookers, this was bought to replace my older smaller one.

Easy to use, what a wonderful product! It works exactly as it states it does, and that is a new one to me! The food is delicious, roast, pork loin, venison....all melts in your mouth! A GREAT buy.

This product is amazing! I would have never purchased this product because of the price, but my husband purchased it as a present for me, and am so happy that he did. The convenience, with the delay cooking option, and the versatility of using it to cook a wide variety of foods(ie. can be used as a crockpot, steamer, and pressure cooker) is wonderful. This product has safety features that are great.
