it took some time to unravel these from the boxes - I purchased 10 boxes so I could have all the hedges at the front look the same. Some of the wires were broken but it still worked. there is no set pattern but it does not matter if you are having them randomly on the hedges. It took a while to get them out but once they are done and you plug them in, they are beautiful. You can see them from a distance especially because of the blue lights. The box said 6 x 4 ft but there is no way they are 6 foot long I would say more like 4 ft wide and 3 ft long - but overall for the price they are worth it.
