As everyone else states, size runs small. My 2.5 yr old is 36" tall and 31 lbs. The "Child Small" was a little baggy but perfect lengthwise. Undiscussed in most reviews is that this costume has a little button in the tummy area that makes a dinosaur roar when pressed. My toddler only occasionally wore the hood, as it kept falling over his eyes, even with a safety pin. And truth be told, people were uncertain if he was a dinosaur, a dragon, or an alligator. I didn't really care. Your little one will be cute, regardless.

Meijer does have the best price and there really just aren't any good dinosaur costumes out there on the interweb.

we had to put a safty pin in the back, to keep the hood from fallimg in my sons face. after that it worked ok

We bought this for Halloween for our 2.5 year old. It is absoulutely adorable and the price was great too. The only minor hiccup for us is the head piece is to big but we can fix that no problem.

Great costume for my 3 year old, fits well and very comfortable. The hood was a little large, but overall a good costume & a great value.

I had read that these costumes ran small, so I ordered this child's size (5-7) for my son who turned 3 a week before Halloween, and it fits him perfectly (though, admittedly, with no room to spare).

The quality on this costume is great given the price. It's very soft, and warm too, almost like a thin fleece. Add to that, it's cute and has a fun godzilla-like sound effect, and this is a great costume for a child who loves dinosaurs. We got a lot of comments from strangers about how cute the costume was.

The one down-side, for which I'd really give this costume 4.5 stars, is that while there are claw feet that rest on top of the child's shoes, there are no mittens/claws for the hands. Also, the hood was a little heavy and kept falling over my son's eyes (but using a safety pin to pin it to the body of the costume did the trick).

This is very cute and my 2 year old son loves it. It does run small, I ordered a size up and it fits him perfectly. It's a "cute" dinosaur, very appropriate for preschool ages.

it was a very good costume but it was a little big for my 20 month old. i had to make the head part smaller and put pins in the top of the tail or it would of been on the ground. but overall we really liked it and everyone thought i made it! didnt see another one like it.
