This is a reasonably priced record-to-mp3 converter. The low cost was one of the reasons I purchased it. And it has a lot of sweet It's pretty compact, too, so if you don't have a lot of room to spare, that's a plus. One of the things that I'm not crazy about is that the record player itself is smaller than a 33 record, so while you're playing one of those, the vinyl literally extends past the corners of the player itself... That just seems like a design flaw/accident waiting to happen. Also, you aren't able to use the arm to skip songs while you're playing a record. You have to bring the arm back to the start position and then place it on the record where you want it. (While that bugged my husband, I'm personally resigned to the fact that skipping songs isn't something I care to do with records.) I'm not sure if this is a feature of this model, or if its the usual for all Crosley players.
I haven't tried the mp3 feature yet, but the instructions make it seem like it would be easy to use. Overall, this is a great buy if you're on a budget, and/or have a tiny apartment. But if you have the extra money to get a slightly bigger/pricier model, I say go for it.

I am pleased with the concept of the product. I am disapointed in the quality of the sound and turntable. I am leary to play any album on the turntable because of the excessive weight on the stylus. Also there is no adjustment for tracking weight.
It was dificult to find a USB card to work although the SD seemed to work well.
The cover did not fit on the unit.
It was a gift and I will use it with caution.
Might be OK for someone who dosen't know better.

Comments about Crosley Radio Tech Turntable Recorder:

I bought this turntable for my husband and it was great. He already had a larger one in the living room but had wanted a smaller one for his home office. The sound is good & the turntable is easy to use. What my husband likes best is that you can actually record vinyl from the turntable onto a flash drive, and then listen to the sound on the computer (or transfer it later to an Ipod, etc). Pretty cool. I'd definitely recommend this turntable to others. Would definitely buy again :)

This is a great product to record your favorite music from your vinyl collection. We can now enjoy the music we have not heard for such a long time. The speakers are not great on the unit, but we didn't buy it for the speakers and if we wanted to, we could hook up our own. You can record onto a thumb drive or directly into your mp3 player. What a great device!
