I bought this item as a replacement for the same item. I had the Country Cats Lotion Pump for at least 2 years. At one point I put it in the dishwasher for a good cleaning and the gold color washed off of the pump, but it still worked just fine until about a month ago when the pump broke. I purchase a new one expecting the same quality, but I found immediately that the pump didn't really fit right and the threads were either stripped or just a bad fit. Because I love the cat so much I used it anyway. Now it's leaking from the top (nothing to do with the fit on the threaded part. Oh well.

This little cat soap dispenser coordinates perfectly with the matching shower curtains and hooks I had previously purchased. My problem with it is that the pump mechanism is very cheaply made and broke within a week. I got a replacement from the company, but that broke as well. I finally got a replacement from another company, that fit, and all was well.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
