What makes Corelle so durable and versatile is a unique, technologically advanced glass material called Vitrelle. In a one of a kind manufacturing facility in Corning, New York, they thermally bond 3 layers of glass together, form the dish shapes, and then temper the glass, providing its strength.

The beautiful pattern also withstands the test of time. That's because they use only food safe enamel pigments that are fired directly onto the dinnerware. You'll never have to worry about it fading, scraping, scratching, or wearing off. Corelle, beautiful today, beautiful for years to come.

          I love that the salad plates make great luncheon plates. I was ready for the square design. My other dishes were very bland and boring. These white ones are great to pair up with other colored dishes, such as red salad plates for Valentine's Day or Christmas.
