My son loves all things Lightning McQueen, and although he is enjoying the bean bag he received as a birthday gift, it will not last long. We have only had it three weeks, and already the stitching is unraveling and coming apart in three separate areas (1 vertical seam, top seam & base seam).

At first I was impressed by the ease of installing the stuffing pieces and the 2-zipper closure system for keeping all the little foam pieces inside, but once the seams started unraveling and the material started splitting the double-zipper closure seemed like over-kill.

The cover material is very thin and slippery, and in some areas I can see the foam pieces inside. Where the seams are coming apart, the material is not strong enough to "repair"; it is just unraveling.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
