    Have had mine for years. Other backpackers thought I was crazy when they saw it strapped to my pack. They had nice rigs with their inflatable sleeping pads, but older hikers like me don't like to get up and down off the ground. I'd leave to go get firewood or check my pack, and there would ALWAYS be somebody in my chair when I came back. Being off the ground in a decent chair with good back support at the end of the day is such a luxury. And all with only about a pound and a half added. Worth it for me. But definitely not for heavier folks above 200 lbs or so.

        I'm a social worker who's required to visit clients in their homes. Some of their homes are infested with bed-bugs and other creepy crawlers. This lightweight camp chair allows me a safe place to sit while conducting agency business.
