We are a family of 5 - two adults, and 3 boys. We are members of the Boy Scouts of America, and are avid campers. This was an excellent replacement tent, and the perfect size. Although a 10-person tent, we like air mattresses - we were able only to place 5 'twin' air mattresses side-by-side in this tent - which worked perfectly for us. The tent requires at least two persons to setup quickly (although it CAN be setup by one person, once you have done it and know how). We liked the swing-door feature, but you will likely trip on the bottom 'door-frame' until you are used to it. Contrary to other reviews, we did not experience condensation in the tent, but this is often a result of how and where you setup a tent. The large panel windows are great, and the high roof allows a typical height adult to stand easily. The high, corner, sewn-in pockets were perfect for placing my pocket junk when preparing for bed, and are ate eye-level so you don't forget it when exiting the tent. Best of all, when we rolled the tent up, with only a minimal amount of care, we easily were able to put it back in the bag it came with! We are very please with this tent.

Comments about Coleman WeatherMaster 10 Tent:

The best and worst thing about this tent is the spring action front door. It is the main reason that I purchased this tent. The plus side with the quick entry, you limit the availability for bugs to follow you into the tent. Another plus is if you have a pet along they can let themselves out, (you don't have to crawl out of your warm bag to unzip the door.) The cons are security. The same pet coming back in the tent pushes the door into the tent. this doesn't allow the door to reseal, which allow those pesky skeeters in. This same flaw would allow raccoons or skunks etc. access to the interior.

Another plus is the space and the height. It sure is nice to be able to stand while getting dressed.

Comments about Coleman WeatherMaster 10 Tent:

This tent is very roomy. EZ set up---35 minutes. Definitely plan on getting longersturdier stakes. The ones that came with the tent are too short and plastic....pulled up out of ground with heavy wind.
The tent got a tear in the wall seam the second time we set it up in the backyard. Haven't even taken it camping yet, so we'll be returning/exchanging it for another. Hope the tear was just a fluke of a flaw and not a normal characteristic of this tent because we really like it othewise; thus the four star rating. Will post again when we use the new one.

Comments about Coleman WeatherMaster 10 Tent:

My son and I put this together in our yard before taking it camping. It took us about 45 mins to get it together, as the instructions weren't really very clear (as others have stated.) We are sure, though, that we'll be able to get it together in less than 30 mins the next time.

The tent is easily large enough for my family of four and two little dogs.

Comments about Coleman WeatherMaster 10 Tent:

It is spacious. We had three beds and there was still room to walk and put our stuff. It is tall. I like the room divider, too. The D-door is good but hard to close the door cover with one hand. The carrying bag was not study. After we put the tent back (we couldn't fit the tent in the cardboard box inside the bag) in the bag, it was broken. But otherwise great tent. I wish I could give it a 4.5 star but the system only allow me to give either 4 or 5.

We upgraded to this tent from one that you couldn't stand up in. WOW, we felt like the beverly hillbillies moving into Beverly Hills from a shack in Kentucky. Love the self closing door. Really nice highly recommend.

Comments about Coleman WeatherMaster 10 Tent:

This tent is a great size, we put in 4 twin air mattresses and had about a foot to 20 inches clearance around the edges. Slept 4 adults and 2 small children. Set up in about 20 minutes, great for such a large tent. One person can do it. Camped three nights in the rain, water came up through the floor in some spots, wicked up by our sheets, and we had tarps under the tent. And water dripped in on the tie backs that hold the rolled up "windows". We sprayed the rain fly with silicone waterrproofing and had no leakage there. Overall pleased with the weather tightness, but those few problems should be resolved in their design. LOVE the hinged door!!! Can zip too, to keep the kids in. A little difficult to find the right zipper in the middle of the night, though, when you have it zipped shut. Needs a glowing ball on the cord. This tent is ideal for hot weather, as the mesh roof allows the heat to escape, lots of good ventilation, we had no condensation issues, even in damp rainy weather. poles seem good and sturdy. Great family tent, but don,t plan to sleep 10, and be prepared for those drips.
