Coleman Personal LED Lantern - Silver
Coleman lanterns have been used to illuminate jungle landing strips, they made the trek to the South Pole with Admiral Byrd, and of course, they've brightened millions of hunting, fishing and camping trips. The Coleman Personal LED Lantern runs for 40 hours on low, or 18 hours on high with 4 D batteries (not included). The 4-position switch with off, high, low, and a nightlight setting ensure the perfect amount of light in any situation, and weather resistance means you won't lose your light with the first signs of inclement weather.

    I bought the lamp on sale for half price, it was a good buy at that price but would have been very upset if I had of bought at full price, to cheap plastic looking. The one I have you have to play with it a little to get it on the setting you want, but once you get it, it stays there.

    Purchased this product primarily for emergency use, e.g. power outages and kid's backyard "camping". Terrific light output...almost too bright if you look directly at the lantern. The "night light" setting is very welcome and handy. Can't yet rate battery life as it has not been used enough. So far, I'm very satisfied with this item.

      This is a teriffic lantern. It's not too big and it's not too small. It is much sturdier than I expected. The light is very bright but it does has three settings so you can choose how bright you want it. If you look directly at the light, it can hurt your eyes. I'm not using this for camping but every so often our electricity goes out (when it's dark of course) and I really don't like burning too many candles or walking around the house with them so this is just perfect for me.

        We lose power a lot from powerful storms and accidents on the dangerous road in front of our house. Need to always be prepared for electric outage. Coleman lanterns have been a part of our emergencies for many, many years. I love them so much that I give them as gifts. I get calls on how they came in handy when they are used.

            Offered a steady full 'day' light during a recent power outage in a 12 x 14 foot room to allow for comfortable reading light, the 4 D batteries were not taxed on energy at all. Power was down about 60-70 minutes.

              I usually use a gas lantern, but when I was in the market for a new one, I got this, used it twice and since have gotten rid of it. It was too bright, I like the soft light of a gas lantern better.
