Sleeps 5-6.Floor is 11'3"from door to rear,11'7"wide on inside when set up. If you use6" thick air matresses 1-Qween and 2-Double will fit and still have floor space.Or 4- Double fit wall to wall to wall.
*Love the DOOR!.
I can stand up as soon as I get in because this model has extra gray pole that holds front strait up.This design holds front flat so DOOR is suported and fits better than Montana model.I use small batery pump to inflate air matresses in tent so Its not an issue that fully inflated mattress wont fit in door.Thankfuly this tent includes a well designed extension cord opening because running a cord in corner of door would be a problem.
*Setup is eaisier once you realize long BLACK poles form X over tent.I had 2 of my kids help.I zipped door shut first to assure it would be linned up.Push poles gently through sleeves while helper holds other end,pole will get caght at end of sleeve,let helper fish out tip before continuing to push pole through.When raising up tent some adjusting of sleves is needed to keep them stretched out and centered on poles.
*Use all guy line ropes! I recomend using included stakes for tent loops but buy bigger stakes to hold guy lines.Rear corner guy lines hold rear poles from colapsing.I put rear corner line stakes behind tent with stakes closer together than width of tent.
*My tent arrived on time in excelent condition double boxed.I Paid bit extra to have it sent to house. Set it up in yard everything good quality.Did not need rain repelant spray but I sealed seams from outside of Fly while it was on a clothes line (needed 2 tubes of sealer).
* Wish COLEMAN had put another Gray support pole on rear of tent just like front to improve on a great tent.
*My previous tent was more like the Montana in design(without door) cost about the same and lasted about 8yrs.But the zipper needed repars and fooling with for the last 3yrs,I think this was partly due to poorly supported front wall(Evanston eliminates this design flaw).It also leaked at ends that were not well coverd by fly and sagging walls that were not steep enough.I could almost stand up only in center of old tent(not a problem in Evanston).
I researched for over 3 days both online and at sporting goods stores.This tent has the design features I was looking for in a size we can use and The door was a big selling feature as well.
If u want to spend about $75 more u can get the Elite Evanston it has a tiny rear "cooler access"door zipper hole,self rolling window flaps,and a battery light in roof(but the light seems prone to failure in reviews and adds weight and bulk of 4-6 D bateries etc. so I saved $$ and bulky weight by getting Green tent instaed of Blue tent.
*I have been camping with family for many years .We camped in this tent and love it.

[...]The Tent body was nice and the hinged door was wonderful. The only thing is that the poles were frayed on the ends making it extremely difficult to put up. I ended up returning it because of the frayed pole ends. If the poles were better, it would have been great. Well ventilated, nice and roomy. If it came with aluminum poles it would have been great.

We go camping alot!, so we have the comfort level down pat. Every tent we have owned the zipper never lasts, and the kids are always leaving the door open. When I saw that Coleman came out with a hinged door I knew that was for me. It works just like the video says and now more messing with zippers. The rain tarp covers the tent well and it hasnt leaked. It is a little bit heavy, but it is a 8 person tent. Will also see what late fall camping is with the wide open screens inside the tent. So far love this tent!

Did LOTS of research looking for tent for mom, 10 yr old daughter and 2 small terriers who camp a couple times a year in the mountains. Something we could put up easily, keep us dry and that would give us room to move around in. I ended up choosing this tent for three reasons.
1. Most reviews were positive on all websites.
2. The idea of the hinge door sounded great with a kid
3. the lower vent looked like a great way to let the dogs out in the morning on a leash without having to leave the tent ourselves.
Took tent camping for a few days after it came..had little rain and tent stayed dry ( I did waterproof before we left though). Hinge door was nice, but is very simple design that uses velcro so I still found myself having to say 'close the door!'. The lower vent used as dog door was nice! I will add company does not recommend it used this way, but it worked for me. My main complaint is the quality of poles. We aready had one split on first use and had to use duct tape to keep together. Tent was easy to put up, but you need to be careful with the poles. The fly was not as easy to get on right and set-up. The ground stakes are cheap, but adequate. The inside is definately no frills. There are only two very small pockets high up. There is a ring to hang a lantern, but you need something to tie it on the ring..no clip. For us it was roomy, but I could not see 8 people in it, more like 4 - 6. Overall, I am not totally unhappy with purchase, although wish it were higher quality even for being a moderately priced tent. Having camped with it, I would look at others now if I could, but I still like the velcro door and 'dog door':) I'm just hoping it will last a few years. Then I'll probably look at a different brand.

I used this tent in a 3-days, 2-nights camping in a State Park with woods around. It rained the 2nd day with thunder but the tent kept us dry. The hinged door a plus. Love this tent.

Great tent! Easy to setup, I am 5'2 and was able to do it on my own with minimal help from my 5 yo. Good ventilation and the overhangs on the front and back were great. I was able to leave my windows open during the rain storm and not get wet. The tent kept us dry during a major downpour that lasted several hours. Meijer had the best price [...]. The material and stitching seems a little flimsy/thin and sparse, so overtime I will know better how this tent will hold up. Make sure you seal the seams before you use the tent.

This tent was exactly what I expected from reading the description before purchasing. We took the tent on a boyscout family campout (it rained most of the 2nd day we were there). There was plenty of room for three cots and a pack and play and all of our gear. Everything inside the tent stayed dry. I was able to adjust the airflow so we all stayed comfortable during the day and night. The only thing we didn't like was the tie downs. They are easy to trip over, but what tent doesn't have these? It's a great tent and I would recommend it for families.

The first time using this tent we were camping on Lake Superior and experienced 50+ mph winds. Needless to say the tent collapsed on us driving us to the car. But after tying down the corners to keep it from flying away, we were surprised to find the tent still partial standing a day later and the corner straps showing very little wear. After neglecting a previous comment about the stakes not being adequate we replaced all the steel stakes with plastic heavy stakes. After inspecting the tent and having one broken section of one support rod which I repaired with electrical tape I still have a tent to enjoy another day. What we went through was abnormal and the tent held together remarkably.
