Family of four, car camping trip as the first test. The tent was perfect for us. We had plenty of room, loved the no-zip door. I thought it would be necessary to have two people for set up, but when my children abandoned me early on, set up was simple alone as well. Meijer was the best price around [...]. Took a group of girl scouts to junior jam rained all night sat. Never felt a drop .Loved the tent easy to set up and take down. Lots of room had a full size air mattress and a queen size air matress and all our gear still had room to walk in the middle. The only draw back was the lighting sytem did not function ,but they are sending me a new one however did not have a back up and had to use flashlights all weekend. Hard to dress with a flashlight in hand.

This was a good purchase for what we intended it for. The instructions were a bit vague the first time we set it up, but once up it was pretty straightforward. The light worked exceptionally well even though this year it's not remote-controlled, it still has a wall switch that will probably outlast a remote. The LED is much easier on batteries and requires only 4 D cells compared to 8 in previous year's model. The door was a bit disappointing in that the hinge design wouldn't keep the door closed, the velcro wasn't strong enough to hold it and it acted like it was spring loaded open. We had to zip and unzip the door like any other tent but the windows worked wonderfully. We stayed dry despite a fairly heavy rain all night and with all windows wide open for ventilation. The front rainfly kept a large area in front of the tent dry, so we didn't wake up to find mud in front of the tent and kept our shoes under it and they stayed dry as well. Maybe if we can get the door to work properly I wouldn't hesitate to give it 5 stars. All other aspects, including the ability to fit the tent back into the bag after use with no problem, were excellent.

We use this product to do your average family/friend camping. Overall, great tent. We love the door and the built in light. The auto roll windows don't make too much of a difference for us. The only think I'm not too thrilled about so far is the width of the tent. Really long but narrow for it's length. I'm 6'1 and can only stand in the very center. If you want a tent where a 6' person can stand throughout - this is not the tent for you. I would recommend this tent to others.

I bought this for a great price. I've had coleman products in the past and this one performed just as well.

The only draw backs were that the overhead light and switch both pulled out of the backing. Also the door would not stay closed on it's own had to secure with the velcro.

I would buy again.

Great family tent, more then enough room for everything including standing (6 foot 3 inch person here), had a great time and enjoyed this tent, love colmen products in general

this tent is a great product. a little on the heavy side than most tents. not really a big deal. went camping on memorial weekend and didnt get to the camp grounds until 10:15 p.m. had to set up in the dark and it was my first time and still got it up in only 10 minutes. the hinged door is very useful. i wouldnt say that this tent sleeps 8. you could put 4-6 people at the most. litlle upset with my led light because it was broken. called coleman and they are shipping a new one. for those of u wanting to know there are zip up canvas on the windows, the top of the tent is all screens. it got down in the 50's at night and we stayed warm.

I am used to a 'square' tent design with 2 poles for set-up, so this tent was a bit more difficult to set up, I would say you need 2 people to set this tent up. That being said it is not too difficult by any means. I loved the night light feature for the kids and the light for easy/quick access. I have used the tent 1 time with 2 adults and 2 smalls kids and had plenty of room.
