We camped out in our Evanston 8 tent last night in the backyard. Set up was relatively easy for my husband and me. We are city folk, and neither of us have ever camped much less set up a tent before, but we had no problem. Set up - with kids running around & trying to "help" and me trying to prevent our dog from jumping on it - took us only about 20 minutes. We love the surrounding windows and the roof screen. My 5'10" husband was able to comfortably stand and move around in the tent without having to duck his head. I am sore the tarp footprint is fine, but I bought a large tarp for underneath just to be on the safe side. Today is going to be a rainy one, and we're leaving it up to see how it handles the conditions. Not being experienced campers, we'd love if the instructions had told us how much room we'd need around the perimeter of the tent. We can't use the guylines on one side of the tent because it's too close to our patio. I'm sure this is something campers (or people with more common sense than us) know. I did a lot of research on tents, and as of now I am very happy with my purchase. I will post in the future as we gain more camping experience.

It was my first time camping and it took about an hour to set the tent up. I think that this is consider good but I relied mostly on the pictures to set it up becasue I got the poles confused. The other part that was difficult was packing the Tent away into the bag. We had to fold it several times.

Great tent [...]. Ordered the tent at a great price [...]. This tent endured several major thunderstorms and stayed completely dry inside. The screened in porch leaked a a bit after while but I think it had something to do with the way we put it up. Highly recommend this tent. The screened in porch is the reason we got it and it was well worth it.Roomy but not to bulky. Awesome buy.
