      I bought two of these lanterns for a camping trip that is coming up. They are pretty small, but give off a lot of light. I was swinging one of them around in my kitchen and dropped it on our tile floor. It didn't damage it at all- but the handle came off, but it just snaps back on- which is great, because you could easily attach the lantern to hang off a rope or pole. I bought rechargeable batteries and a charger and think I'll buy a few more lanterns so I can keep one in the car for emergencies and around the house in case of a power outage. Of course, they will be great for camping and easy to throw in a bag and take anywhere. Very pleased!!

          I should have checked the measurements better as this was much smaller than I expected it would be. Turns out, it is extremely bright, enough to light an entire tent, and perfect for my 6 year old sons little hands. The smaller size would be very beneficial for those backpacking or tight on space. We're thinking of getting another one!
